Help needed buying used Hyundai or Honda Car

I travel daily in bangalore for aobut 65kms (stay and work in two different ends of the city). I used my Gypsy or a Versa (family vehicle) to travel and now have decided to buy a car.

My budget is around 5 lac and I wanted only a sedan (for many reasons) and did not like the Ford Ikon (5.49 on road), Esteem or TATA cars. I have been running around the used car showrooms and have shortlisted these cars:

Hyundai Ascent CRDI - 2003 - 45000kms - 4.75lac
Hyundai Ascent Viva CRDI - 2004 - 22000kms - 5lac
Hyundai Ascent (Petrol) - 2004 - 44000kms - 4.8lac
Honda Citi (fully loaded, top end) - 2004 - 40000kms - 5.6lac

I am not sure if I just take these cars to one of the showrooms, they will give me an honest opinion.

I need help from the fellow memebers if they know a showroom, a known person, or help me personally. I stay in Banashankari 3rd stage, Bangalore.

If there are better cars, better prices, please advice.

I think he clearly mentioned that he does not want Esteem or Tata cars.

The prices seem to be a little unrealistic expecially for the petrol accent (pronounced ack-sent, Sam's influence). Why don't you consider the Logan ?

If you are serious about used-cars, please take time and check out multiple used-car outlets. Also, buy mags like freeads. This would give an idea about the real prices prevelant in Bangalore. For me, it seems you are not yet ready to buy used-car.

My company is planning to auciton an Accent (Aug. 2006 model) for around 4.75 lakhs (reserve price). Let me know if you are serious. I can check and revert.
p.s: Of course, we can decide about my "cut" later ! LOL

Yesterday, I checked out a few cars in the new used car display that has come up near J P Nagar. The banners said this was in association with MSIL. I asked the agent if they meant MSIL would provide loan, but he was not sure and the owner was not available. I could not understand what MSIL had to do with used cars; anyways:

I apologize for mispelling Accent. Here too the prices were similar to what I mentioned earlier:

2005 Accent - CRDI - 56000kms - 5.4lacs
2004 Honda Citi - 46000kms - 4.5lacs
1999 Honda Citi 1.3 - 100000kms - 2.75lacs

the 99 citi has good body line and atleast looks good. Some minor issues like the box that houses all four power windows near the driver is loose and needs to be fixed, both the mirrors need the small stick (inside to set the mirror in right view) fixed. I drove the car and felt better than accent. There is a small crack in the dash board to the left side, but otherwise it felt and looked good.

What do you people suggest about this honda?

BTW, MSIL is (::.. Mysore Sales International Limited ..::).

About the MSIL and 'used car' link, the following news makes it clear:
