I have been following this thread as I myself am looking for a used LAURA in Delhi.
A new laura Auotmatic OTR in Delhi costs about 18.00 L. Yesterday I got a call from a used car salesman and the seller is asking a price of 14.00 L. The specs of the car are as follows.
Model Jun 2006
Color Black
Insurance valid till June 2008 (fully Insured)
Automatic Version
Driven for 25000 KM
Further he claims to show the service log, that the car is non accidental and the seller is selling as he is purchasing a high end car.

The car sounds good I think, but I was looking for a car in the 10-12 Lacs range maybe a 2 years old.
But the point is that as the seller is asking for 14 L in Delhi and as seen that there is a 2 Lac difference (on the OTR prices in Banglore and Delhi) the 16.25 L deal sounds Ok but I think that there should definitely be some room for bargain.
But again thats my opinion as I have no idea on the market for Banglore

16.25L seems to high man, 15.5L is more ideal.

And 25000kms done car for 14L is not such a good deal IMHO.

In another thread I saw someone has paid 16.3L in Bangalore. I think prices may be a bit high because availability is less.

A dealer called me up and said that there is another car for 15.5L [AT] but its done about 15000 km and is a 2005 registration. Was the Laura on the road in 2005?

Do you think it may be worth it to pay about 75K more for a 2006 registration? I think so. What is your opinion.

Busa, also please keep in mind that all used cars cost a bit more in Bangalore than Bombay [I think].

hi kumar.. are u planning on taking that laura by (re-)financing it again? if yes.. i would suggest you to pick up a new one itself.. as ur monthly emi will be roughly the same due to the difference in the rates of intrest.. so my suggestion would be why not a new laura elegance?

Hi,

Thanks for the idea. I know that finance costs more for used so I will be not taking finance.

I am keen on an AT thats why Elegence is out.
