Found an ohc for 2.75. 2004 model done 55k. 1.5L. Car is in good condition other than minor dents. Is the price good? What is the situation on avalaibility of parts?

i thought the last year of manufacture for the OHC was 2003. get that checked. Seems like a good deal otherwise.

i don't think parts will be much of a problem. other than the fact that some of the parts are quite expensive. but then again when you drive a honda you should learn to pay its price.

The price is good, if the car is in good condition, but like mentioned by flipsyde, I too guess the ohc was till 2003 so how come a 2004 ohc? If all is good though then it's a good deal.

I thought too it was 2003. But the owner mentioned it as 2004. He is a friend of mine so did not discuss.

OHC sales were stopped on Oct'03 & the NHC introduced in Nov'03. Be very careful of any '04 registered OHC's. Plus, the price looks suspiciously low for such a late model, relatively low mileage car, are you sure it's a clean piece with genuine mileage?

If the car is clean, then its a steal for 1.5 lakhs. Get it checked and pick her up.

I think he meant price is 2.75 Lakh, and the car is OHC 1.5 L(itre).

1.5L?! Who is giving away his OHC at that price? This one rohan mentioned costs 2.75L.

Rohan, I would say be careful about this car and its overall genuineness. Latest OHC=Late 2003. Thats about it. So 2004 it can not be unless of course it was being driven around for 5-6 months without registration. Secondly, check about the mileage and how genuine that thing is. And then of course make a cursory check for accident history.

Everything else being ok see if the car has had any history of giving the owner some trouble which probably has now forced him to get rid of this car. Last thing you would like is to pick up a Honda and then find your car lined up at the dealer's place for costly repairs.

If everything looks really hunky dory I would say go for it. A 4 year old car (if it is indeed one from the last lot of OHCs released in late 2003) will mean it will be good for another 3 years at least if you take good care of it. By the way, is it a VTEC?

No Priyank the price is 2.75L for a 1.5 EXi which is too low for a clean car.
