Thanks for all the replies, yes Baleno is running all over my mind (with a litle bit of Ikon 1.6 Nxt), I started observing Balenos on road, they are in good numbers!, However I am liking few and some Baleno look like fat tummied & thin legged (may be that extra rubber is missing at the bottom).

Pls let me know was there any change in the shape in 2002 to 2006 models? (I saw different front grills though) My budget is 3-4 lakhs.

AFAIK , its only the tail lamps and the front grill. The new one's have the clear lens types and the front grill in the older one's were like the honey comb.

Amazing cars (rather Balenos), very impressive, my view on Baleno's looks changed to great extent !!!

They look far better than many latest designs/models.

Convinced coz I don't see any other cars meeting the requirement.

I just missed a 2006 Black Baleno LXi, it was sold out for 3.95 lacs, is that a good deal?

Whatever car you buy, you will end up loving it. I hate the NHC looks, but I am sure that if I had bought it instead of the Baleno, I would have loved its looks today. So, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder (and owner, when it comes to cars).

Ofcourse, the only part I am against is converting the car to LPG/CNG. IMO, it screws up the car (from my personal experience on M800). But I am sure there are others who find it good. So, its your call.

What was the mileage ? To me its looks a steal deal was missed if the car had less than 10k on the odo.

Dont be dis-heartened, continue your search and am sure you will find a ravishing beauty awaiting your arrival.
