While eagerly awaiting for the 4th Car to join, Clicked pics of current 3 cars garage together. Excuse me for my amateur photos. In my society, there won't be a place to fit in all 4 cars in 1 parking block.

Since you would not have initiated name transfer for both the cars, would suggest to initiate sale of both the cars. Whichever car gets you better value in comparison to your purchase price, sell that off and retain the other!

Wait you’ve got an old fluidic Verna as well? Why don’t you just sell that and keep both the Slavia as well as the new Verna?

My main purpose is not to get best value but to get best suited car for me, so whichever I find more suitable for me, will be retained & other will be put up for sale.

Mate, fludic is 13+ Yrs old so can't use it in NCR after a year, hence selling it. I just need 2 cars & 1 of them is BMW, other 1 can be either new Verna or Slavia, Fludic Verna will be sold outside Delhi/NCR.

Verna gets my vote as I just can't imagine getting a 1.0 engine vs 1.5. It boggles my mind how people get swayed by power figures without taking into consideration rpm required for same. Hence bigger engine gets my vote as even on lower rpm it works and powers ac beautifully.

Also a 4-pot NA will have less failure points compared to a 3 pot turbo

Finally Brought The Slavia Home Today. After Driving Verna, Slavia is feeling little powerful. I find AC performance good enough, specially with ventilated seats on, I have complaint with AC.
The thing which I dint like is the car starts crawling very quickly and sometimes it feel little jerky. Also I feel engine is trying to work too hard when I am trying to push it a little. In Verna its very smooth & absolutely quite.

Its very difficult to pick one of them, both have some qualities which are hard to ignore.
I also realized, its very tough to maintain a black car in just 3-4 days of having Verna Black.

Today I am more confused what I was before picking Slavia , I never realized it also has beautiful white ambient lights ( I always want ambient lights in my cars ). Initially I though, only Verna has ambient lights.

Now Verna has 2 main plus point which is Electric Seats & Better Interior specially seats, however Slavia has better power, better looks & it feels powerful.

Attaching a pic of all 4 keys together, will try to put all 4 cars together and click picture whenever I can. I Purchased 2 cars instead of 1 - Which one to keep?-whatsapp-image-20250310-6.47.00-pm.jpeg

Sharing the Picture of 4 Cars Garage for the folks who asked for it. Excuse me for picture quality as its a basement parking with limited lights.
I am thinking about selling off Slavia with heavy heart, as Verna is looking more suited cars for our needs, even though its bit lethargic as compared to Slavia.

I think you have made the right call, the Enthusiast may pick the Slavia, but for all practical purposes and your use case, the Verna seemed ideal. It's great to know that you have arrived at a decision. Happy motoring!

It was moreover my wife's final class, Slavia is fun to drive but sadly it does not worth keeping an Extra car especially when we have very limited running, 2nd car will not clock more than 200KM a month.

I will put the Slavia up for sale in Team-BHP Classified Section soon, hope to reach the right buyer, who can enjoy the car more than me. I have driven it for around 200 KMs now & using it as my primary car at least till the time I have this :)

I have put up Slavia for Sale here on T-bhp classifieds, here is the link for the ad, in case anyone is Interested - https://classifieds.team-bhp.com/buy...a/Slavia.html/

I though selling Slavia would be easy but its still not selling, End users are giving useless offers & I don't want to sell to car dealer. I think now I will put up Verna for sale as well & keep the Slavia ( If it does not sell first ). Surprisingly not a single genuine query came from T-BHP classifieds as well. Olx is filled with only car dealers.
Is there any other genuine platform I can try to find end users?

Try facebook too. Verna will fetch you a much better value. That said, you already made a mistake buying a Slavia, especially when you had the BMW. There's no point having two Germans! Verna - simple, reliable and comfortable; Beemer- Fast Fun and the badge! That's all the requirement there was.

My advice- Part ways with the Slavia with whatever value you get. Verna would be a great long termer, with little upkeep needed.

Thats what I am planning to do, Selling Slavia only, Unless I don't find any buyer at all for Slavia in the next 15 days or so, I had to put Verna for sale. I am not sure about Facebook, will try there as well. I have couple of potential buyers in line, however rates they are offering are around 12 only.

First of all, it's a sedan and second, it's Czech (German VW's sister concern), which instantly brings the price down in the used car market. The Verna, being a Hyundai, will find a lot more buyers. Hyundai is perceived as a brand which holds value well, just behind the Japanese brands, with cheaper spare parts, better service, reliability, etc and Skoda, VW, and other German brands are historically notorious for high service costs, expensive repairs, and poor resale value. These sentiments still reflect in the used car market despite there being changes in recent times.

I fully understand now, even though cost of parts seems fair now at least with Slavia, I just got its front break pads replaced & its cost was just 5-10% more than Hyundai's. If it does not sell by next week, I will put Verna for sale, can't keep 3 same cars with no use of 1. Also thinking about reducing price further a bit as earlier I was not accepting offers below 12.25L from anyone, I already had an offer of 12L from a car dealer which I refused straight away. Will consider closing around this range now.
