Optra-(petrol or diesel is your choice)
Because-
1.Ride is nice
2.Interiors are nice and comfortable.
3.Leather option is available.

Ill not suggest city as the ride is not as good, but the interiors are good but the car is a segment smaller and it shows.

thanks
For 8-10 lacs the options are City GXI/CVT/VTEC, SX4 ZXI, Cedia, Optra. (Corolla with leather should cost more than 10, if I'm not mistaken).

The SX4 in ZXI trim comes with leather as standard, but you can always have your fabric seats covered in leather later - loads of people doing the job.

For "soft" suspension, the Optra is a good choice, but the others here are no slouches either. And the Cedia probably has the poorest interiors in this pack.

SX4 ZXI gives maximum bang for the buck, but do test drive the Optra as well before you go for it. City takes too much money for few features, and the Cedia being driver oriented probably isn't "soft" enough.

So, Recommendation: SX4 ZXI.

Optra magnum petrol LT variant is one good value for money . good interiors , new looks and good suspension. Can also consider optra diesel in case running is more, Optra diesel is a good driver's car, I found it a "rocket" while driving.

If you are not into the F.E concsious mode. Th Innova Petrol would be the best for you. Otherwise, Maybe you could try the Optra. Not sure if the cedia has soft suspensions.

Option 1 : NHC. For city driving, this car will keep you happiest. Also check the CVT transmission out.
.
I have a NHC CVT and i hate driving this car for longer than 30 mins. Not many people have this complaint on the forum but both me and my dad develop aching legs special the ankle due to the front seat positioning. The front seat sits at a raised angle due to which you get no thigh support. I usually pull the seat all the way at the back but still not much different..the back seat is great tho.

A short test drive will not be the right test for this, i made the same mistake and bought the car... take it for a long drive for over 30 mins in traffic and then decide.

As for suggestion- Corolla or Optra are your best bets.
