lancer petrol or opel astra advantage??

Hi Firends...there are 2 cars...lancer petrol 99..which is 3.25lacs..single owner...and original paint...showroom condition...second car is opel astra advtg..2000 model...3.25 lacs...which has music system of 20,000 & leather seat covers..and alloy wheels....and original paint...and CNG tank fitted woth 25,000rs...and CD player...So please suggest which car to buy...IAM CONFUSED...

The astra is way too expensive
AStra should be for not more than 2.25 + the car is fitted with CNG , We all know that CNG ruins the engine to a certain extent ....check when was the kit fitted.
Later the better

In terms of comfort noth comes closer to the astra .Same goes in terms of maintainence. both on the higher side.

99 LAncers retaill for 2.75 to 3.00 max

Wait for start of Jan 2005, prices will fall further

and on the price of the parts
u shud get a club for arnd 2,75,000 - 3,00,000 2000 model , had seenan ad long bk and u cud even look at a club diesel incase u can find one shud be arnd 3,30,000 .
i luv both these cars , they re simply impressive .
incase u re lookin out for hassle free ownership go in for the baleno , i think u cud get a 2001 model afor arnd 2,75,000 , great refinement level , low maintainenance costs , amazing air-con supported by maruti s network !
