[Looking to buy] What are your thoughts on this car?

Actually, as others mentioned getting a NOC is practically impossible. I tried for my 2 wheeler and u know, the guy in RTO[chennai] asked for 2000 rupees. So, I just went to RTO, bangalore and told the inspector there that i have no NOC, but want to pay tax. He made a chargesheet with 200rs fine and I used it to pay the tax. Tax was 2200.
The same was done with couple of friends too. May be its needed if you want to change the registration number. Not sure.
Also, I am not sure if it counts same for 4 wheeler.

Isn't 4Lakhs too much for a TN regn. car in Bangalore?

There are now some KA registered OHC (and VTec's) in the market section, take a look. Team-bhp moderator ajmat (Ajit) has put up his KA registered VTec for sale, I have seen it and its in gr8 shape... PM him (assuming you are a mallu, use this card)

I don't, sorry, anyway to give you some guidance, a similar non KA car in stock went for 4.3 L. Factor in a fair price for my mods (came to nearly 1.5L when new) - which are of a good quality and we can reach somewhere
