i got a call today from sales person with whom i am interacting for logan and he told me the GLX ex-showroom price has been slashed by 26K but no slashing for diesel and might not even have one (i guess thats because D varient is selling pretty good and i think might have good/resonable relase value too )
I'm not sure of the details. The source of the information is an article in the ET (Logan to be cheaper by Rs 30,000- Automobiles-Auto-News By Industry-News-The Economic Times)

More than that the reports on Mahindra pulling out of the Mahindra-Renault deal (even if it wont affect the production or sale of the vehicle) will also have an effect on resale value. The 2nd hand market is cruel.

Last night, a post wedding blah blah chai majlis had this topic and most of the people were of the opinion that the resale value is going to drop very badly if Mahindra has pulled out of the JV.

Price is going down, as per latest news!

So, all the cars already on the roads will see a drop in value.

M&M is thinking of coming of JV. If this happens, the resale value will definately get affected.
