I think that they better give some money to the person who wants to takes it.. :-)
On a serious note, since it has been discontinued, I don't think that there is any sense in buying it.

Personally speaking, running her around than keeping her stationary is preferable. If she was stationary, chances are that they have been using her a spares inventory for other customer cars, which,i am sure quite a few Service shops resort to. In any case, i dont think it will be worth the trouble.

Hi Guys,
There is one thing that is surprising me. Fiat is talking about Punto and Linea but what about the replacements for Petra and Adventure?
Or is it that we are not going to have them?

The A** and spare parts will be big question. As it is the spare parts of Fiat are costlier and imagine the situation wherein the model is stopped selling and the cot of spares and A**. Thinking this will itself ward off many buyers.

Gemithomas, you can buy it for spare parts .. Just cannibalise the whole car and take the parts you need

I beg to differ here. I don't think the parts are expensive.

But will the parts be available after the model is stopped? Usually other manufacturers keep the parts for about 10 years after they have production of running model. But this is a different case as this model is not in demand like other models in the market. We need to think in this angle also.

Most of the parts are shared with Palio. So, that won't be a problem.

But some parts like rear glass etc. might be very tough to source.

Please read ACI survey in Dec 2007 issue. Palio is the costlier in terms of spare parts. Since adventure shares some parts with the Palio, I guess even that might be costly.
