Any feedback or driving experience on this model? I heard FE is very good on this Is it true? How much we can expect?
How about the ground clearance? Is it same?
Your comments please.
Thanks

the FE is goin to be the same as RS dude coz both cars have the same engine, and as far as i know all my frnds that own an RS r sulking over bad FE. Ground clearance i guess is same as the normal skoda .

FE from what I hear is 6.5-7 in city .
Its very obvious , the 2.0 Octy returned abt 7.5-8 kmpl in city

Acc to Skoda auto the FE of the 1.8 turbo is ~ 10.1 city & 16.2 highway.
cheers,
Rai

But according to Overdrive its 21 kmpl on highway which is ridiculous. rl:

The overdrive test of FE is ridiculous itself! All they do is drive on a fixed stretch of highway in the highest gear possible and at a constant speed. That is sure to get a great figure, but not one that reflects real world usage.

At exactly 80 kmph (irrespective of vehicle size or gear ratio). But you do get an idea of what the car is capable of, if you drive it like an absolute numb-skull. hehe

Shan2nu

you should get around 7-8 kmpl in urban driving cycle
and around 10-12 in highway driving cycle.....

ground clearance is same as regular skodas around 134mm,but do you know corolla has got awesome groundclearance of 180mm better than even scorpio(178mm) and qualis(178mm)....amazing isnt it?

Ground clearance on a skoda is still impressive though matched alongwith their heavy suspension system... i took my 1.9tdi through a special stage for the recce of the inrc delhi round in the mines of faridabad, and we did a second round in a scorpio, and i personally felt the skoda handled better while driving on that horrible road although it was slower than the scorpio because of obvious reasons... :)

i average a bit under 8kmpl using 93 in mumbai. my drive is 45 min each way peak hours (8:45-9:30 and 17:45-18:30 hrs) in traffic. i have just filled a tank about 12 days back load of 97 and will know the results in a week or so. a tank fill lasts me 3 weeks or a bit more.
