Help me choose a used Fiesta ZXi 1.4 TDI

Hi all,

The car that I am looking for is a November 2006 model and had done 22k on the odo.

It actually belongs to my wifey's colleague and is in immaculate condition.

The asking price is 5.75 Lacs (negotiable). Considering the fact that Fiesta has made some changes in Fiesta recently (like the driver side airbag as standard, in all it's versions), please help me arrive at the best price for the car.

Thanks in advance.

It's not a bad price I feel. Bring it down a further 25 - 35 k and see if he agrees.

Its only a year and a half old and I think ZXi is the mid variant - right ?

22k for a diesel is not much anyways !!

Price looks good.

Will the warranty be transferred to the new owner? Will suggest to but only if you get warranty.

TDCi engines are(was ?) imported. Parts can be costly.

5.5lac

i dont think warranty can be transferred to the new owner. You might want to go back and buy a new extended warranty if you want

It is indeed the mid variant. Ford has made a few changes to the ZXi version recently which includes driver seat height adjustment and electric mirrors.

Thanks for the reinforcement. Made my resolve even firm. I will negotiate over the weekend for 5.25/5.5 lacs or thereabouts.

As for the warranty, Ford has a standard warranty of 2 years. I believe the current owner has not opted for an extended one. He had opted for underbody rust coat and 3M exterior treatment.

Will keep you all posted on the deal. Looks like my long cherished dream of driving a Sedan will soon come true.

Hi all,

An Update.

The planned meeting over last weekend did not happen. It will take place this Saturday/Sunday.

Also the model is an EXi and not the ZXi one, as mentioned in my earlier post.

I am offering a price of 5.0 Lacs.
