Spoke to dealer. He says Verna has Bridgestone tires only. If any dealer is giving MRF, Apollo or JK then they are changing these. Hyundai only does Bridgestone on all their cars as a rule.

Just confirming , the dealer agreed to a fixed price on payment of deposit, did they commit the same on paper?

In all my interactions, dealer has always told that price prevailing on the final invoicing/delivery date shall be final.

@ Liberal - Yes, Once you pay a token / booking amount - then they stop the vehicle for you. In case of a price Increase dealer cannot back up on his commitment. I have done that earlier.

There are always cases when a dealer backs out. Happens with popular vehicles where he will have someone else also interested in that vehicle and does not mind the price increase. This way dealer will cheat you out. It happens with Maruti a lot here ( Swift Diesel )
