NNHC is on it's way BUT this deal should also be sweet. Usually such cars depreciate by 75k or so the moment it comes out of the showroom.

Offer him 75k less than the OTR Price and I would think it's a fair deal. In all circumstances, NHC has one of the best possible resale values among all cars.

1 to 1.25 lakh OTR
visit a used car dealer for best price estimate.

Excatly, I'd offer around 1-1.25 less than the showroom price atleast. For 75K less, its not worth gping in for a new car, might as well put in the extra cash and get a new car. In your choice of colour, and will have better resale too since its a single owner car.

IMO, to keep the friendship intact, better both of you go to some used car dealer and ask a qoute. The dealer will give a low qoute for sure. So, pay an amount higher than that qoute. That way, your friend will feel happy at what you did, and you get a nice deal as well.

NNHC is on its way but it will come around Diwali and it ll be priced higher !
1-1.25 lacs lesser than OTR price will be a good buy. Go for this one !

75K less is good, anything over is sweet.

However, do consider the loan part. If you intend to opt for finance, the loan on a 3 month old car will come at a higher interest rate (used car). Sometimes, it makes buying a new car cheaper. Make sure you do your calculations well.
