The alpine stereo has a cable(stock,came with the car) that you can plug into the headphone jack of your ipod. But you`ll still have to control the ipod from the device itself.

If you want to control the ipod from the HU, then you may need to get a connector cable.

Thanks Evo. How much is the connector cable like? Do you get the other cable with the RS? I did not get the cable with the car.

No idea how much the connector costs, you`ll have to check it up with the dealers.

As for the cable that plugs into the headphone socket, try lifting the passenger side door mats and maybe you`ll see it trailing from the fascia. (Thats how I found mine!!)

How about the others who have a RS? Do you guys have that cable?

Thanks a lot dude...Been ripping around town and it is a total head turner from a small kid to an old man.. Plus its such a performer. Had more valet guys scrambling for my keys in the Taj than the S-Class. Unfortunately I parked my car myself. Will post the pics asap then the bhpians would understand.
