2001 Lancer Slxi price?

Friend seen a 2001 lancer slxi for sale. Didn't have leather seats. Right side headlight has been changed. One wiper doesn't work. Other condition is good enough. Asking 2.45l. Think its right? Insurance is till july 2009. Thinking of giving an offer of 2.10l.

How come is it a SLXi without leather seats? Does it have the 3-spoke alloys?

Yup. Its got the three spokes alloys. Thing is that when we reached the spot, they were changing the seat covers. The older leather covers were torn.

2001 SFXi are rare..mostly in Yellow colour.i feel 2L is worth it.
But in my experiance all these 2001 cars must have clocked more than 80000kms

Its a slxi, not sfxi. The odo says 35k.

35k in 7 years sounds unrealistic, especially since the OEM seats are torn

The odo at 35k is a little strange, but is possible, the head light on the Lancer is atleast 5k I suppose. this should be at good deal at 2L.

Bit OT, was quoted 3.5lac for SFX last year at bangy; 3-4 year old car I guess.

What the difference bewteen SFX and SLXi? Sports and luxury?

Yup, JKD sports and luxury. SFXi is with body kit, 14" alloys and different cloth upholstery.

SLXi is full leather interiors including door pads and handbrake lever, 3 spoke 13" alloys and different tail lamp design which the later models of SFXi also had. SLXi has chrome grill whereas SFXi is body coloured.

Both SFXi and SLXi had 3 spoke steerings in the earlier models then went back to larger 4 spoke ones.

Why an Slxi specifically? If u stretch your budget a little more, u can get a SLXi LE, which i feel is a real good car. Also, @ 35k how come the car had the seats so tatty?? Sounds fishy.
