Hey since you mentioned a hired car, my suggestion would be a Tavera or an Innova. they both come with big boot space. Usually hiring charges for a Tavera are a bit cheaper than the Innova, well atleast in Jaipur. Also lot of Taxi operators have got Renault Logan (sedan), it has a 500 ltr boot space and a pretty comfortable car to drive around. Hiring charges are cheaper than the Innova and the Tavera. The cheapest would be Indigo (sedan) but not sure if the boot is big enough.
