Buying a Used Sedan

Bhpians..need help!

I have come across two sedans, both are privately owned. Both cars look well maintained.

Please advise me if its worth investing in these cars, the only thing thats bothering me is both models are discontinued,I dig the old accord but not sure if its the right thing to invest in a 7year old sedan.

Honda Accord 2.3 VTi AT
Color: Black
Model Sep 2001
Kms done:49000
Registration: Delhi(currently in Hyderabad)
Owner: Second
Price: 5,75,000/-

Chevrolet Optra 1.8 LT
Color:Light Goldenrod Yell
Model Sep 2003
Kms done: 51000
Registration: Hyderabad
Owner: Second
Price: 4,50,000/-

Please advice

The Accord if clean is a good car but is massively overpriced. A 7 year old car would not be worth more than 4-4.5L no matter how good the condition is. This is also their going rate in Delhi.

way overpriced for a 2001 accord, with two owners. a friend recently sold his 2001 accord for 3.25 to a end user here iin mumbai, prices cant be that wide..rather buy a corolla of 05-06 in that budget

I would anyday prefer a Honda to a GM simply because of the A** and availability of spares. The price asked by him for Accord is to high. Try to negotiate around 4L. It would give a better VFM. Moreover, you are in Hyd and the registration is Delhi's. You need to pay the extra road tax for the same if you want to convert to AP registration.

If you want to check the price from a private site, visit New Cars, Used Cars, Buy Cars, Sell Cars, New Car Prices, Used Car Prices - CarWale.com. It may give you some idea of the pricing to be given.
