hey guys....my cousin is looking to get a honda dio. he is in college and they don't allow bikes in the campus..so what 2wheeler would u guys sugest?? how is the Honda Dio..? he just wants to get a one which has max. power among its class..so which 1 would be best?

Don;t allow bikes on campus but allow scooters?? very strange considering that bikes are safer.

I did not get the point where the college doesnt allow bikes in college? I guess you want to say geared one here... alright coming to the point.. the Honda Dio is the best in its class.. it carries the same engine as the Activa but has an entirely Fibre body whereas the Activa comes in Steel... the Dio has better looks than the Activa and the entire Fibre shell (Coloured) parts can be bought for as less as Rs. 1600/- in Pune dont know about the price in your city...check with your local dealer for this... by this you can have a Dio with changing colours... Fuel efficiency is anywhere between 36-55 depending on the riding style... I recently bought a Dio for my sister and she is pretty happy about the overall package...The engine is the most refined of the lot and the Low end torque it offers is mind blowing when compared to other scooters... only part is that the price of Dio is priced about Rs. 2000/- more than the Activa.

The Dio costs close to 42k on road. Second hand prices depend on the mileage done by the machine and the purchase year.

Dont know about TVM but in Pune it costs 41500 on road with a few accesories like the side stand.. and lady footrests and also add a coat of polish to it...My choice would always be a new Dio than a second hand one...
