I was planning to check this car on Saturday. Saved a trip for me. Many thanks.

I'm curious to learn how you ascertained the meter tampering in the absence of service records?

How was the car otherwise?

There is still a little bit of Elantra lust left in me.

When I start the engine i felt like it has crossed more than 1 lakh KM.
Interiors are good.

This car is previuosly owned by Anam Ram narayan Reddy (Minister for communication). So you can imagine how many Km it was Clocked

This guy is posting Ad from December '08.When I called up this guy over phone he claimed as first Owner. But during my visit when i raised this point then he agreed as 2nd owner.

Last month when he posted the classified Ad in this forums he kept it as first owner.I replyed back my experiences on this Adv, then he removed the Ad.Now he again posted with some facts but still KM reading is not genuine.

If he genuinely keeps the meter and have clocked more than 1 lakh KM's also I might have striked the deal.

How come such a vehicle can be serviced at road side shop's from the day One???? Question your self before going to visit this.

Politicians vehicle means multiple drivers as well. As you said, it is better to avoid this vehicle. Thanks for your inputs Manne. Much appreciated!

Sorry OP for hijacking this thread a little.

Please stay away from vehicles of ministers. Everyone of their men travel in them except for the Minister. Its used like a common mode of transportation.
