Great car & Good deal its a steal for the accessories(stanley+ICE are worth).Black rocks.
My two cents
I'm little skeptical about you being a third owner.(Note this is your trade secrect, bargain hard.)
Dont go by the appearence of the car. This is maintained by showroom, hence they may polish & grain it neatly.
Look for any major accident had happend on both the side wall under the hood.(mechanic can find out this easily.)
see if warrenty is still covered.if not try to get an extended warrenty from the showroom itself, this make them feel responsible for what they are selling.
all the best.

Thanks a ton guys. I'll surely look into all of this - am making notes with each post.

I was caught up in meetings and work these past few days and will finally go for the check tomorrow afternoon. Will bargain hard but don't see the price budging much. Still am optimistic in life.

Cheers!
Payne

ORly?!

I'd have thought that the emptier bank account keeps things in perspective for most people - In retrospect, while my running is full diesel territory (18.5k km in <8 months) but I would've appreciated the extra 1.2L in my account anyday!

Petrol Cedia go go go!

ROTFL. Even though my running on the Uno was only 500-600 KM/Month, I have already done about 3800 Kms in little over a month in the Bolero. And that too when I shifted my house to less than a KM away from office .

I would have lost even more when the time came to sell my car , and the money saved on fuel is just an added bonus

either way, lets leave that debate for http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/indian...vs-diesel.html
