Swift to SX4 - Booking a Black SX4 Zxi - Some queries on Pg3

Thanks a lot vibhu,nurni,vishal,rajneesh,anant,freewheelburning .

I finally booked my Black SX4 Zxi yesterday,delivery will take around 15 days.

I got 35K as discount,so am happy with it.

I went with a friend(works in DRDO) to book the car,I was amazed to know the canteen price for this was 1.5L cheaper.My friend had requested me quite a few times to buyit through the defence canteen.

@anant,
I did not get the parking sensors as free,guess will have to fit it myself.

@freewheelburnin,
I would have loved to go for the skirts,Infact gopinathan has fitted them in his red SX4 and the MGA price is 20k,dont have the money unfortunately.Would love to fit them in some time though.

@rajneesh,amit,
I went to Stanley Boutique yesterday and the price quoted were :
Stanley Classic with frontside full leather and backside art leather 27000
Stanley Classic with full leather 37000
Stanley Satin with frontside full leather and backside art leather 30000
Stanley Satin with full leather 42000
Any design to the above would be 20% more to the existing price.

These prices include seats,doorpads and fitting.
Delivery time would be a week since they would be shipped from Bangalore.

So far I have decided for Stanley Satin with front full and rest art(30K) + design(thinking of orange side strip) - full price would be 36K.

Please let me know whether to take full leather or the one I decided would do.
Also,are the prices quoted Ok?

The dealer told me that SX4 comes with JK and Bridgestone tyres.
He has some SX4 in stock and can change my tyres to Bridgestones(if my SX4 comes with JK).
Is the Bridgestone tyre good or should I switch over to the Michelin Primacy LC(205/60/R16)?Since these cost around 9K(saw it in the Micelin India website) and I would normally get around 1K for the stock ones,that would cost me around 30K roughly.

It would be nice to upgrade the tyres at the very beginning. Bridgestones are not very much better. Please go in for Michelins or Yoko's. You should get a much better price for your Original tyres. Rs 1 K is way too low.

Pl check the prices of the same combination from an authorised dealer( not the Stanleyboutique). In case you haggle, you will be able to get a discount.

1K per tyre is too low - the dealer is ripping you off. I got quotes of Rs. 3K per tyre in Bangalore for the stock 205/60 JK.

I had one hard punchur for one of the JK, i bought a new one for 5300 Rs. so 1K is damn low, check it out with other tire shops.

But this waiting is killing me,hopefully should arrive next week

I will also check the tyre prices with some other shops,3K will be really good.
