Used city vtec or used accent viva

I have a friend who is not a member on T-BHP and is in the market to buy a used sedan in the range of 2 lakhs. He has shortlisted a used city vtec (2001, 65000 kms) and a used accent viva (tornado, 2003,56000 kms).Which one will be better buy to run and own assuming both cars are in decent shape.

thanks

In this situation, I would not have any second thoughts on buying the vtec!

It's a no brainer, dude! Ask your friend to go for the VTEC.

Vtec if its in good condition - usually Cities command a premium over similar Accents and Lancers.

If the price is same - check if there is any caveat.

Apparently I don't know how many of you have noticed that a v-tec's seating isn't that comfortable for a 6 footer. I have driven fellow member shreys v-tec and wasn't happy with the drivers seat.

I had to push the seat completely back to ensure that my knees never touched the steering wheel. As for the engine , no comments was a hoot to drive.

Im 6'2" and have been enjoying the VTEC's seating for the past 9 years without any issues.

I drove an ANHC from Pune to Hubli the other day, got home......sat down in my car and realised how sporty the seating was. It finally comes down to personal preference.

A V-Tec would be the preferred choice athough finding one these days in god condition is not easy.
