I think that screen shots (.png) are being blocked by the App as well as Tapatalk. Everyone who is reporting the 'security error' is then managing by transferring to the image to their PCs and uploading from the website.

I say this because I was able to attach an image (taken by the phone camera) from the App on another thread from my Android phone.

Originally I was trying to upload the following two screenshots from my phone on the App thread.

One is from the Tapatalk showing repeat posts:


The other I took almost immediately from the App where the same thread is not showing multiple posts.


It would seem that the App behaves better than Tapatalk.

However I am preferring accessing TBHP in Tapatalk due to the ads in the App!

(BTW even I had to use the PC to upload these screenshots).

I don't see such a settings tab on my note 2

Edit: can't attach a screen shot. It said something like security error. I can pm it.

My note 2 does show the settings tab but I cannot attach any snap through the app. I wish we get an option to get back to earlier app. Am using the browser to post.

I have not been able to view the forum from the new app for two days now.
It just keeps trying to pull data.
Uninstalled and restored previous version, and it's working just fine straight out.

How did you install the previous version? I desperately want to get back to the previous one.

I'm rooted. I restored from titanium.
I'm sure if you look around,you can find the apk for the previous version.

I want to revert to the older version of the App, tried uninstalling the updates but no such option exists.

Does anyone know how to revert to the older App?

Found out something today:
1. The app allows one to upload pictures, however there is no 'insert inline'; picture is added as an attachment.

2. App allows only one picture per post.

3. When you attach the picture, it will not show up immediately. If you go back (out of the thread) and then come back to the post, it will show.

4. App doesn't have the picture size limitation enforcement (small, medium, large etc.).

One more quirk. Two actually. I can't report my own post. Also when I quoted a post in the Enjoyable Drive thread my post shows several <br/> tags. On editing the post I don't see those tags. So this again is a problem with the new app. Problem is I didn't see this problem before though I have been using this app for a few days now. Or is it a problem with quoting posts?

Adding one more:

Identity of the quoted posts are not displayed when viewing from the app. If A replies to B's post, the original post appears as a quote but without B's name displayed within the quote.

Finally figured out how to get to the settings. Sorry, I had not understood how to do it before.

A few of the issues I am facing:

1. Time line throws up already read threads as unread, at times.

2. Some of the posts repeat, especially the one at the end of a page repeats at the top of the next page.

3. Search is not working, it seems. I am getting totally unrelated posts as results while searching for a key word.

4. Still not able to attach photos.

5. Slight tap selects the post, would love to have the selection on a bit longer tap
