Can somebody please provide the .apk file for team-bhp app? My android is asking me to sign into google account to download this app. But if I sign, it'll sync all my gmail contacts with my phone(which I dont want).

you can disable the sync in the Settings > Accounts & sync > Google. uncheck the boxes opposite:
- Sync contacts
- Sync Gmail
- Sync Calendar

Thanks to GTO and for those Wonderful people whose brainchild is this...!!! Unfortunately I run on Symbian , But now this is even compelling hard to go for IPHONE or Android...!!!

Another thing, it will also sync the Picassa web if you have your pics on there and show all your pics in Gallary.

In a nut shell, it on its own do many things that we don't want to. One more is your location data if you use the GPS etc.

There is a search option on the home page. When you click on the menu button, you'd be able to see it.

The app is very good. An exit button in context menu would be nice. It will be easy to exit, instead of having to go back continuously till we exit the app finally.

Thanks. I have a few apps which also have this functionality too, and it is quite useful - but the concern about it being officially supported still remains.

Another good suggestion - however, those narrow bars might not be the most finger-friendly. This could lead to a lot of mis-clicks, and making them larger is not really worth it.

On android :
- When you're within a forum section or forum listing (not within a thread), click the MENU button and then select search. (Note : this only searches within thread titles - for more options, use advanced search)
- When signed in : slide your finger sideways (right to left) on the bottom toolbar, and you'll see more buttons shown, including Advanced Search.
- When not signed in : the search button on the bottom toolbar takes you to advanced search.

I just observed again now. When I click on the pic of a post, it opens a new window with thumbnails of all the pic on that page ??
But yes, out of three thumbnail, clicking on thumbnail for opening a larger size pic worked for just one. And I waited long enough for the other two to show,but didn't happen. My data connection is reasonably quick to open a full screen sized image from Facebook.

Agree about the wrong clicks. But IMO, we can do away with atleast 1 line of text of the current post under the thread title.
Also, I feel the avatar pic of the members under CURRENT threads listing is not all that important. Can be done away with ,after all it would be there when you click open the particular thread to read the post.

At the risk of sounding repetitive.
I am on android 2.2.1 and clicking on home button just keeps the app open in background, it never closes it until either I goto Running Services and close the app or click the back buttons few times to come to home screen.
Also, Exit buttons in apps like AG India Newspaper, Dolphin Browser, etc, never gave me any force close issues.

I just noticed that, the signature that I have set in the team-bhp app didn't get added to my post .

I have set a signature " Sent from team-bhp-app for android". It didn't come out in the final post.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Log on to Team-BHP from PC.
2. Don't set any signature in EDIT SIGNATURE under USER CP.
3. Verify in the EDIT OPTIONS under USER CP, that the show signature check box is checked
4. Login to Team-BHP APP for android.
5. Open Settings and under signature settings, verify that the send signature check box is checked.
6. Set a Signature in the app.
7. Reply or Post from the app.

Expected Result: The signature set in the app should be added to the POST.
Actual Result: The signature set in the app was not added to the POST
