This post could easily win the silliest suggestion of the year award. But still posting it here to find if this suggestion could be carried out without much effort.

It would be great if the android app supports smileys that are used in vBulletin. Many a times smileys like or sends a very wrong message when read on the Android App. Here's just one illustration of the same!

In this case, the other gent has used the "I'm Stupid" smiley. But when read on the App it appears as if he calls me "Stupid"

In fact smileys are never rendered graphically on my phone. All I get is the worded version. Is that how it is supposed to be?

I noticed another flaw with the app. If you have set it to give notifications for an update to a subscribed thread(s), then you will find multiple tbhp icons on the top 'notification' bar. So you slide down the notification bar and click on one of the links, app fires up to take you to your subscribed page and you read off all those threads, but even if you have seen all the updated threads, the icons remain on the notification bar except the one that you clicked to come to the app in the first instance.

I know some other apps don't do this. Yahoo mail shows just one icon with a no. for the unread mails, so if you go to yahoo app (even if through a shortcut), the icon disappears, registering the fact that you have indeed checked your mail. The tbhp icons stay put and have to be cleared manually.

I subscribe to fewer threads (although the no. is growing) but found my notification bar getting cluttered up, and finally figured a way to disable this feature. It's for the good though, I get more work done now!

Any plans of forum accessibility on Tapatalk? For the users with devices that are not supported by the TBHP Apps Tapatalk is the only means to access the forum from a portable device.

Has anyone encountered pictures issue with android app? I can never get to see all pictures on any page. Average 3 pictures displayed out of 10. All others get blank gray square place holder.

All this while I have kept attachments quality to low level.

Hi. My primary usage and consumption of Team BHP has been through my android device. One question keeps coming up: is it possible to multiquote through the app? If yes, how? Ive landed up not responding and commenting because of this. Tl

I have a workaround but its tedious. Quote and comment on a post, submit. Go to next post, quote, select all - copy, do not submit but cancel comment. Now go to your recently posted comment, edit, paste and add comment for second post and so on, till the half hour window for editing expires!

Re: Team-BHP App for your Android Phone & Tablet

I'm still waiting for a UI overhaul of the app. Everyone has moved on since 2011 but looks like Forum Runner is still stuck with GB port of their iOS app. I'm not sure how much influence we have on them to improve user experience on the Android app.

I would also like to have Team-BHP app for Windows mobile OS.
I have loaned my friend's Lumia 710 to get the feel of Windows mobile OS.
I am eyeing on Nokia's announcement on 14th May.

Re: Team-BHP App for your Android Phone & Tablet

I agree with the posts above, The picture viewer is bad. I am hardly able to view any pic, Earlier i used to think, the culprit is 2g connection but even with 3g, It remains the same.
