Re: Team-BHP App for your Android Phone & Tablet

Yesterday I got a message, the application is just crashed. However, after restarting the mobile it works normal now.

Has this issue been faced by anyone else? I use the android app quite frequently and haven't noticed any crashing.

No idea. For last few days whenever I connect to the wifi or 3g, the TBhp app shows the notifications and immediately the phone shows a message 'This app has crashed and aan email has been sent to the developer...' When I try to open the app, it gets stuck in the first screen with a never ending progress bar/circle.

Today, however, many apps have been automatically updated and now suddenly the TBhp app has started working. I am typing this response from the app itself. My guess now is some other app update might have screwed it up on my phone.

I use the Android app quite often too, and haven't noticed it crashing any time recently.

@Honeybee, have you tried deleting and reinstalling the app, perhaps?

Nope, but the problem was fixed automatically, just as it had appeared. Btw, I am using v1.3.18 of the app, I guess.

Any plans to make the app available on Windows Phone?

Can we see location of the member in the Android app?

I had posted this a few month back and I would like the board to take another call on this.

I request for including the support for Tapatalk to be brought back. Let it run in parallel along with the Tbhp app. With the recent release of Tapatalk4 the current Tbhp starts to pale in comparison. Sorry but this is what I feel when I switch between TP4 and Tbhp apps.

Would request the admin board to take another call on this and think about it with a broader outlook.

Exactly my thoughts. I don't know if Forum Runner (software that powers Team-BHP app) is lagging behind or it's just the Team-BHP app that's not getting updated. Tapatalk4 is way ahead of our current app in terms of features and usability. It would be great if there is tapatalk support for Team-BHP.

.
Its high time Tapatalk to be supported back for 2 reasons :
1. Over past few months Tapatalk has evolved as a completely matured product.
2. being a paid app, may not effect much on popularity of dedicated TBHP app
3. Multiple platforms are supported

Tapatalk should be brought back asap

How about a multi select option when
1. Deleting private messages and
2. Unsubscribing from threads?

It really becomes difficult when I receive several messages 'You have been quoted' and want to delete them all.

In my galaxy s phone with the android app, the sections having new activities was marked with a red cloud and sections with no new activity was white cloud.

But in my nexus 4 as well as note 2 all the sections have a white cloud irrespective of the activity. This is a problem because I can't know if a particular section has a new activity until I go in and have a look at the threads.

Is it a problem with the newer android versions or is there any setting I am missing

I occasionally face this problem, where the app doesn' t show notifications but there are new updates to aubscribed threads or some messages. Sometimes all icons are white, indicating no new activity, but when I open the individual threads there are updates. Sometimes merely selecting Refresh Page from the menu fixes it.

I have 'noticed' this on WiFi mostly, so it might be that if the connectivity suddenly dropped, the app fails to update correctly. Just a guess.

Re: Team-BHP App for your Android Phone & Tablet

I generally have very smooth experience with Team-BHP android application. However, sometimes, I get each notification twice. For eg. I get 2 notifications of a PM from Administrator but when I check my inbox, its just one PM. Any setting or tweak I am missing?
