I'm not able to edit the comment that I just posted (it says invalid post id) and also when I try to go to the User CP from the app, it says "error the user does not exist".

You are a Newbie. Hence you will not be able to do anything with the post that you have made. It is upto the moderater to approve the post, and then you will be able to see the post. But, like I said, you cannot edit the post anymore.

Be careful with your posting during the Newbie phase (25 posts).
Use the 'Preview Post' option to review, and then only submit the post.

Thank you. Unfortunately I don't find a preview post option in the mobile app. I rarely use a PC these days to login to the forum.

Exactly! User CP in the app is not working as well. In the app, I don't think there is an option to thank for a post.

Not sure if this is the place for feature requests.

* I would like to have a feature in the mobile app where I can enter my vehicle(s) details - Regn Number, Make, Model etc.
* I would like the registration number to be kept private.
* Whenever a fellow BHPian spots me on the road ( via T-BHP stickers etc ), he can notify me by entering the registration number from his device.
* From the server, I would receive a notification stating that this BHPian has spotted me.

This would be much more efficient than a dedicated thread running in the Shifting Gears section IMO.

I am facing an issue since yesterday, the Team-BHP app on my phone(Samsung S3) is not opening up. It says connecting to the server and dies out. All other
I am not sure if App's are working fine. I tried clearing the cache and force stopping the app and then starting it again, even tried the usual remedy of restarting the phone. Does anyone know of any solution or should I re-install the App?
P.S.: I am not sure if there is any other thread for such issues, so posting it here.

Sorry for the back to back posts as I am not able to edit the earlier post.
The below problem was solved by clearing all data and re-logging into the app.
P.S. Most of the words in the earlier post are appearing jumbled up. I don't know how I goofed up.

I am utterly fed up of the craptastic app. The whole menu has disappeared. This app is somehow so bad, I'm seriously considering moving to the mobile site.

Install the older version of the app.

I had updated the app. Then uninstalled and installed the older version of the app.
Apart from slow / no loading of images, the older app is a charm to use.

I used the new app for less than a week and went back to the older one which is any day better. Even after changing my phone, I have stuck to the previous version. Only thing to note is that I do not update it on Google play.

Try this. Uninstall the app after clear cache and clear data then search for the folder netendoftimeandroidforumrunnerteambhp using Astro file Manager or something similar and delete it. I haven't tried the latest update yet.

Disclaimer : Haven't tried this step earlier so I'm not sure of the consequences. Do it at your own risk. Since you were about to switch to the mobile site, I thought of suggesting this.
