Vitamin C + Zinc is supposed to be good - but I haven't found any Zinc tablets in my local medical shops.

Zinc should not be taken continuously. It is toxic after certain limit. same is the case with almost all minerals except Calcium, Iron. They are required , but they do accumulate in the body.

Requirement of Zinc is very minute. Take Zincovit syrup for few days and stop.

Best remedy for cold is to drink lots of water. Especially on empty stomach in the morning.

Another thing is taking Plain steam inhalation during the season in the evening before sleep helps.
