Re: Metallica in Bangalore - 30 Oct 2011: Possible TBHP Meet

Wanted to join but could not due to other works.
But having seen Knopfler (4th row!), Purple and Maiden I was not sad that I could not see them!

Disappointed? Yes!

Agree with you here. Screw the concert/iphone/ipod/computers other gizmos etc. Can someone get so stupid that they leave their passport behind in an unmanned and unsecured spot. This one takes the cake.

Sorry but comeon - you know these things happen!
Yeah and it happens only in our country. If it was some other country,DNA would probably be begging on the streets to pay the lawsuit.

Check this video to feel the crowd. I picked it up from YouTube. The one I shot in my phone has very bad sound.

And from the official MetallicaTV in YouTube. It is quite funny and moving.

@deetjohn- those are epic videos! The part where the chant goes from Na na na na.. to Whoa oh oh oh...at the end of The Memory Remains was a moment that gives me goosebumps. No wonder James said, "You're beutiful Bangalore" in that awed tone of voice!

Well said noopster. I wonder why MetallicaTV didn't bother to put up the video of 'The Memory Remains'. I am sure that was the highlight of that grand evening for many. And it would be nice to relive those moments through their high mounted cameras.

Well, let's get hold of the Bangalore Concert DVD, as soon as it hits the stores.
This way I'm sure we will definitely get to relive that moment for sure
