Not live but my biggest regret is not seeing enough of Zico and Socrates and to some extent Platini too.

And about Yamal, he has got tremendous game sense in him as well as can create chances out of nothing. He is a playmaker in the perfect sense and if he continues to play like what he is now, we will have a gala time watching him play.

Re: The Football Thread

FCB seems to be at their very best this season. Can’t remember when they were last like that.

Also, SonyLiv wants one to have a subscription even to watch highlights! Can’t really complain as an industry person related to broadcasting rights plays Sunday football with us and was complaining how Jio outbids them in almost everything.

Re: The Football Thread

Wow! Barca won the El Clásico.

Lewandowski could definitely have scored a hattrick.

Re: The Football Thread

Madrid just dropped a stinker. What disastrous performance by Mbappe! He is not living upto his hype. LaLiga title seems out of reach now, although a lot of matches are still remaining.
But credit where it is due, Barcelona were a better team overall. The black days of Barcelona owing to their bad management are now behind them it seems. Hansi Flick has brought in a monumental change in their style of play. They seem more aggressive and maintain a high line. They take more risks and earn more rewards. Domestic treble would definitely within their reach.
As far as Madrid is concerned, they needs to fix things as soon as possible. Defensively they are just bad this season. I've been a Madrid fan for as long as I can remember but Ive never seen defending this bad. I hope Carlo Ancelotti takes required action and save many hearts including mine from breaking like it did today
