My Heart Goes Out To The Aussies !!!!

Hey, Well another great match of the Underdog vs Favorites messed up in the last 5 secs because of referee error !! FIFA seriously needs to re-evaluate the standard of their referees ... from which frigging angle was that a penalty for Italy ??? This was the cruelest blow of this WC edition so far ....

SIMPLY CRAZEEEEEEEEEEE .. thats all one can say for this decision !!!

Never mind Aussies ... WELL PLAYED !!

Cheers

Shedding a tear for the BRAVE AUSSIE TEAM

Crazy stuff by the refree.....the brilliant Aussies were done in by the refree just 5 seconds before full time...........the BORING & IRRITATING Italians go into last 8.......thats life though...the aussie fans took it well too...just imagine if England lost this way..

I have tears in my eyes now for the Aussies....A STANDING OVATION TO THE AUSSIES

a big thumbs down for the refree and yeah FIFA better start 3rd refree decisions like in cricket atleast in the World Cup and other major tournaments.

Hey, Well, I did go back on my words and ended up watching the next match as well ... and again ended in frustration . Can u believe the Swiss lost on penalties ???? They missed their first three shots .... simply unbelievable !!!

Well now I'm gonna apply the reverse psychology formula .. cheer for the teams that I wanna see go home !!!!

Cheers

the standard of refreeing in this competition has been absolutely appalling!! In most clubs in Italy, spain etc etc, diving/simulation is an accepted practice, and many refrees fall for this (refree was spanish in this match )

It is time fifa introduced instant replays so as to expose these cheats!

Swiss going back home - :-( ..each and every team I support has lost ...dunno whats happening..but yes if you miss 3 penalty kicks in a row , you are better off playing the flute. Well done Ukraine and now get those damn Italians !!

As for todays 2 awesome match ups ----

Brazil vs Ghana - Go Brazil Go - home !! Ghana could just be the team to cause an upset here.....lets see

Spain vs France - I mean are the French really thinking they can get past Spain ? Silly of them.....

Curses! France thrashed Spain 3 - 1. Nostradamus has been proved wrong! But, I must say, France played their best soccer of the World Cup till date.
Earlier Brazil beat Ghana 3 - 0. That was expected anyway.

But seriously maan - with the results going haywire bigtime , now I wouldnt be surprised if we actually end up with a ENGLAND-FRANCE final !

So for the Quarter finals - Im going to sit back and enjoy without worrying about who winning and whos losing.

France winning over Spain was not really unexpetced.Spain has laways been disappointing at major events like WC and Euro cup. They have been branded as under-achiever.
Moreover France showed its quality in this match which spain was not able to match.

As i wrote earlier,Brazil has always been slow starter and now they r picking up the pace and now r the most favourite to take the WC back home.
