Anybody out here seen the thrashing handed out by FC Zenti (????) to FC Bayern Munich. 4-0 Hapless, Don't know hats goin on with the 1 time German giants.
They've got a real good side on paper, Luca Toni, Ribery, Lucio, Podolsky, Schweinsteiger, Van Bommel.
Zenti won 5-1 on aggregate after drawing 1-1 in Munich.

Its Zenit St Petersberg, the reigning Russian League Champions. I think Bayern just got burned out at the business end of the season. They have been going for four trophies and its definitely taken a toll.

Read the lines again. We win the last two premiership games and kick Chelsky out of it for good.

Utd have put one across. Just one more to go. Chelsea play Newcastle tonight at the Magpies homeground. Tricky tie for Chelsea. I suspect they will drop points here.

Comments on the foolish behaviour displayed by Nani? I seriously would want him to be reprimanded for his stupid outburst.

Excellent, the way Man Utd still dominated the game despite being reduced to 10 men.

I thought it was frustration at not really contributing much to Utd's cause that lead to the Nani headbutt incident. He will learn with time. Fergie is a clever manager and he will ensure the guy is reprimanded and taught about his duties as a footballer at a club of the stature of Man Utd.

Any predictions for tonight's game. I predict Newcastle prevail over Chelsea 2-1 . And then the title is United's.

That's a wish, not a prediction

Magpies are in good form, so they should down Chelsky 2 - 0!

The good form alone wont guarantee them a win against the likes of Drogba and company. They need luck on their side as well. Personally, i wish Chelsea go down, and thereby Man Utd be crowned champs. Err... even a draw would suffice, for me.

Well, it goes down to the wire. Chelsea beat Newcastle 2-0 to ensure their title dream is still alive. Utd face Wigan away and could be a tricky tie for them. But I expect them to come out victors and seal Chelsea's fate.

In the first half of the match, Newcastle showed a lot of resolve, and commitment. Owen wasted the rare chances that came his way, but i still hoped they would find the back of the net.

In the second half, one wondered of it was the same side which had played the first half, as Newcastle looked totally outplayed and were contained within their half itself for the major portion of the game from then. Taking off Viduka could have been the reason.

Chelsea played sloppy at times, but held on when it mattered the most. It goes down to the wire now.
