Does anyone know of aviation clubs or schools in Pune (or maybe even Mumbai) which rent out small planes by the hour?

Not sure if this fits in this section of the forum, but being motor enthusiasts I reckon chances of pilots being on here are good

there is one in Baramati, but I am not sure if they rent out to non-students

Do you know if they have a website or any way to contact the..tried googling, but couldnt find anything. Am I better off searching for schools in Mumbai?

Yes I do have a Private pilot license, and am hoping to rent one for a few hours occasionally. However I want to find out from them if overseas PPL licenses (Australia) are recognised - I know that Aus commercial license is not recognised in India.

here is their website "www.carveraviation.com", btw, these guys were the key guys under the spotlight in the recent bogus license scam

for me, I am keen to learn, but easy and in no hurry, as I am in a full time job and cant spare time in a block

also, don't want to shell out the big bucks in a shot, as I have other family priorities too

knew that these guys are there with the gliders giving joy rides, but was not aware of the website

have always been tempted to do, with the info from the website, will be able to plan better

have you done it yourself?
