re: The Heavy Metal & Rock Thread

One of the best bands that I've discovered lately called "The Sword" from Austin, Texas. They do a retro metal + hard rock thing with science fiction and fantasy themed lyrics. This song in particular, is what I love to listen to when I'm speeding on the highway.

re: The Heavy Metal & Rock Thread

Just booked the tickets for RII Oct 20 to see Slayer. I have already seen them once in HMV Forum, can't wait. I hope the organizers do an amazing job and may the event happen as planned.

Korn ruled last night in Delhi.

It was beyond epic man.
Mosh pits, almost wall of death, and epic music.
I think Korn themselves were astonished by the response they got from the crowd, not huge numbers but the energy!!

Nice set of lines by Rush drummer Peart. Apt for petrol heads.

Wheels can turn you around,
Wheels can cut you down,
You can go from boom to bust,
From dreams to a bowl of dust.

This I think figures in the album Grace Under pressure.

re: The Heavy Metal & Rock Thread

Read a few rumours about Guns n' Roses performing in 3 cities (GGN, BOM, BLR) somewhere around December. Hope this news is true, GNR is one of my favourite hard rock bands, and I'll try to attend the concert. Anybody else planning to go for the same?

GnR are confirmed for December. Heard it straight from one of the Managing Company's Head on the Korn India Tour Page. I think the date was around the 7th.

There should already be a page/group on FB, track it there.

Guns N Roses? I wouldnt be too sure about the quality of their live performances anymore. While I can certainly vouch for Slash's performance with Myles Kennedy. They kicked some *** at the Sydney show last month and I can probably say THIS is the GNR that one would like to see now.
