Guns N Roses? I wouldnt be too sure about the quality of their live performances anymore. While I can certainly vouch for Slash's performance with Myles Kennedy. They kicked some *** at the Sydney show last month and I can probably say THIS is the GNR that one would like to see now.

Just read that Slash is planning to tour India in 2013 and GnR is confirmed for 2012. Not sure if it is Nov 2012 or Dec 2012.

Megadeth are playing in Noida on October 14th!

Damn it...one more show I can't go to - same reasons why I cant go to Slayer...but atleast I have seen MegaDave live once earlier :p:

edit: err, sorry didn't see Wolf's post before posting..

Jesus, throw in f1 there as well, and it's turning out to be an expensive month.
But the best one too!!

its on the megadeth site so basically yes.

Well, after Chinese Democracy, I would say "Guns without Rose" would be great.

My attempt at some humour. But seriously, Slash's last 2 albums have been great! Would love to see some of those songs live.

Who all thought that Justin Bieber could not be part of a metal song:

Here is something for the Metallica boys who love the Ford. Look at James's right arm :p

Bad seen at Queensryche. Tate fights with the rest. (Fight started since 2012 April).
Ruling yet to be given as to who owns the Queensryche name; Tate or Rockenfield/Wilton

Sad state (or end? ) or a great band.

I don't see much activity here folks? So anyone who went to Megadeth and/or Slayer?

Also any one listened to the long awaited Wintersun album, Time? Time I btw as Time II will follow next year...its decent I felt but not as good as his debut.

I did. I went for Megadeth...and Slayer!!!Though I'm always partial towards Slayer, I've gotta admit that Megadeth put on a very good show. They played the entire Countdown album amongst a lot of other stuff. Slayer were brutal as hell, but I've seen them do better at other shows.

Megadeth have a habit of doing that ;) not a lot of talk or flash, but they are a tight unit live.

I was too busy tending to my own little thrasher who came into this world on Oct 12. People say you mellow with age and then being a parent etc, I don't think that's gonna happen to me though.

Here's a little for the Metallica fans out there. Hetfield through the years. Found it on Facebook. :)

that is good work by somebody :D hilarious!

putting that up on my wall as well.

also have you guys checked out a supergroup called "black country communion"?

Derek Sherinian, Glenn Hughes, Joe Bonamassa, Jason Bonham are the members and they play classic rock/hard rock. 3 albums out. just stumbled onto them on youtube yesterday and still listening to them. nice to bump into new sounds which sound good.

^^ Yes, I did check them out recently. Good stuff. :thumbs up

King Crimson has been on my playlist. I've got to say, Fripp is a genius!

Derek Sherinian...

Wow, the lineup sounds great! Must listen today! This reminded me of another supergroup with e DT connection, called Yellow Matter Custard (Mike Portnoy, Neil Morse, Matt Bissonette, Paul Gilbert). They're a Beatles cover band (Mike Portnoy sings Strawberry Fields maybe? :uncontrol), and do a darn fine job of it!

Cheers,
Rahul

I would not pay money to see Axl today. I think he has lost it.

BTW Independance Rock 2012 will also have some Mumbai based Metal Bands including Pentagram, Brahma, Bhayanak Maut etc..sadily I am told other Indian Rock bands wont be included as this year the concert is very small.
