Hello Delhi!!!
Considering that there's a whole plan thread going on for the bangalore concert lets have pre-meet up here as well.

Why this deserves a thread?
because, for any and all rock fans, there is always a holy trinity.
This trinity is made of 3 bands, any bands.
your choice.

but one is invariably the "gaads".
Somebody who hasnt ever heard rock/ metal , when he/she hears a riff, "ye metallica hai?"
(this is metallica?)

Hence, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity for most of us.
people have died, people will be born, listening to these songs.
kids will grow up, like we did, listening to James and his crew(rather, Ulrich and his crew), but very few will get to see them live!!

I will see you there!

I thought about this it but decided against spending so much to see just Metallica. Sure it was one of the first few bands that got me into metal back in the early 90s but I don't see the value now that James' voice is nowhere near what it used to be. Of course live and up-close , the older songs will be cracking good. so enjoy it guys.

If this had been a Big4 concert, that might have swayed me
Testament and Anthrax are currently touring , still don't know why Rock in India with Testament+Slayer flopped last year!

Dude that's exactly why I'm skipping it. Apparently Tallica have outgrown their "Metal" roots way back since "Load" and don't enjoy doing metal anymore. However reality has kicked them hard in the butt when they realised that trendy kids aren't a very loyal fanbase and now they're wooing the metalheads by doing albums like "Death Magnetic." I've written them off a long time ago. Even though the music in the new album's heavy there's no soul. It just comes across as a forced attempt. Even the live setlist (that someone posted) consisting of mainly older Tallica songs here is no surprise. They're just cashing in on what they used to be and not what they really are. Doesn't matter how heavy you sound but when you pretend to be something you're not, you're not really a metal band in my book. Anyway that's just my opinion!

Hi Mayankk, Sorry for the late reply, yeah they have quoted the delivery date as first week of October. I have got two tickets. Me and Wife.
