Team-BHP - Thrilling Air show at S.P. college

Sunday morning saw some serious movement in the air-space of S.P. college ground. The event was an aeromodelling show organised by the Rotary club. Aeromodeleers from distant parts of India had assembled to enthral the spectators with their models. Some of the models like the Sukhoi's, helichopters etc were show stealers. Para-gliding was the biggest attraction of the show.
All the models kept buzzing over the spectators for over 1.5 hrs keeping them completely occupied. Most of these models were equiped with miniature engines with around 7cc capacity. Others used electric motors for propulsion. The command of the pilots who controlled the planes through radio control was such that the planes could perform stunts in unision with each other at ease; almost every landing of the planes was a soft landing. The helicopters, Sukhoi's, and few others performed fabulous stunts at high speeds. The stunts included loop, spirals, dog chase, touch and go etc. The puzzled kites were seen chasing the models to check out what it was. Fortunately, there were no bird hits :D. One of the planes did crash down after it hit the top of a tree. The pilot remained safe lol:. The overall show was an entertainer. A plane showered some special effects in the end to close the show.
