In the Indian scenario; I'd like to leave the car and foot wear where it's meant to be at the portico or the doorstep. suppose you run over fresh "cow dung" or "manure" from the man hole waiting to be 'evacuated' do you want it "really" to come to your doorstep with the attendant "aura" your apartment would get and also the flies. Suppose you get stuck in the elevator and the captive power doesn't work: all this can happen especially in India.

I've heard there's a similar building in Cochin. Only heard - never seen - not sure if the building exists only in paper and plans.
