RIP, Dev Anand. Your song 'Choodi nahin yeh mera dil hai..' in Gambler was my favourite during my college days.

May his soul rest in peace. Really sad...I remember watching/liking many of his movies/songs during the days when DD was the only choice of TV in the late 80s.

Very Sad indeed. R.I.P. sir. Its just endless beauties all of his films are...Ek Aur Ek Guarah, Hum Dono, Gambler, Jewel Thief, just endless...un-replicable Indian Gregory Peck.

"Main zindagi ka saath nibhata chala gaya, har fikr ko dhuain main udata chala gaya". His "Guide" was a masterpiece and my all time favorite Hindi movie. Rest in peace, and up there give some lessons on how to live life with full energies till the end.

Re: R.I.P Dev Anand

very sad to hear this bad news, R.I.P.

Movies were his passion, his life, his breath, recently heard that he was still working on a movie!

He was a style ikon.

Re: R.I.P Dev Anand

A great loss to Indian Film Industry. He was a Legend. Served the industry for more than 40 years. He created his own space when Raj Saa'b and Dilip Saa'b were ruling the Indian Film Industry.

The MOST HANDSOME star of his times has now left us. I was discussing about his achievements with my uncle yesterday night itself. Couldn't believe this news today.

My favourite star of the Black & White Indian Cinema.

R.I.P. Dev Anand Saa'b!! We will surely miss you.

In his autobiography Romancing Life released in 2006 Dev Sahab talks about his cars briefly:
"After Ziddi, I bought my first car, a black Hillman. Later, I bought a convertible called the Triumph and I remember driving it proudly out of the Dadajee Dhackjee showroom. Two Chevrolets followed -- one was maroon, the other was green."

May his soul Rest in Peace.

Great loss for whole film industry especially BOLLYWOOD. Man, whose association with Bollywood seemed to be stretching towards eternity, has abruptly left all of us.

What a great stylish actor and a great star was Dev saab. He had introduced beautiful heroines to Bollwood.

Who can forget 'Guide' 'Hum Dono' 'Jewel Thief'and so on so forth.

RIP Dev Saab.
