Spotted a dark-blue (previous generation) Hyundai Elantra with aftermarket wheels and Got BHP? on the right-hand-side of the rear-bumper. It also had the large transparent sticker on the front bumper and a few smaller ones on its flanks. It was parked on CMH Road not far from Puma / FabIndia @ 1:00 this afternoon.

I don't think so. But, the URL stickers wont obstruct the numbers. So, it's safer to paste them instead of the big ones.
I have put up those clear URL stickers on both my cars' number plates but no one notices it. It just passes along, the cops won't mind it.

Saw a silver Swift having number KA 41 M 72** with LTD sticker on the hatch door inside Garuda Autocraft Pvt. Ltd. Think it had come for service. It was driven rashly by the driver. Please take them to task and ensure they do not repeat this again.

It is illegal to put /stick anything on the number plate. Don't know about other states but in Delhi, you can be fined for it. I was fined for the same, i had T-BHP url sticker on the number plate.

Also, if someones puts the picture of such number plate on Delhi traffic police FB page, he will be issued Ticket by DTP on the basis of such picture.

Also when we started moving, were you flashing for acknowledgement? I felt so cause there was so much gap between us. if you noticed, i too flashed my brake lights quite a few times while stationary

is this near Indiranagar by any chance? Because I had spotted the same car a month back. IronH4wk recognised the elantra in an earlier spotting of the same elantra by me. Belongs to bhp-ian coomarg as stated by him.

Oops my bad. Now i realise it isnt coomarg either as the cars are different and I spotted the Indiranagar one aka the blue one.
