I really think we should decide on an an acknowledgement signal.

A good signal can be pressing the red flasher button on the dash on sighting any fellow bhpian. Agree?

Thanks for the acknowledgement. I guess I have spotted your car couple of times near Agara.

I met nkrishnap while starting from there. There was a gentleman with white Fortuner but only after seeing the 3M thread I realized that he is a BHPian with handle Bibin004.

MH06 ** 148 (or something similar) registered grey Grand Vitara at Wadala. I was in the corolla, flashed my lights a couple of times. Also spotted MX6 (I guess) near chembur when he had stopped on the side if the road.

KA-04-MJ-9734 Grey i20

Spotted you this morning at 9:35. I was following you all the way from Chalukya Circle till Woodlands Hotel where you took a right towards SR Nagar. I was on my motor bike. Since the traffic was clear all the way long, I could not take a photo of yours. You have 4 TBHP stickers on the rear!

This is my first spotting after I became a member. WHo are you, fellow BHPian?

The hazard signal? While I agree that a lot of people who sport IDS don't D in an S manner, cars with T-BHP stickers by and large don't indicate a hazard. :-)

@binand, Good afternoon buddy. I in did not mean to convey the literal sense of the hazard signal I just meant that it should be just a formal acknoledgement amongst the bhpians when they see each-other while driving.

But there are non-bhpians on the road too, right? How should they perceive this signal? Ignore it? Then they need to learn to acknowledge some, and ignore some other, hazard signals? In which case what happens when a bhpian really needs to signal a hazard? And so on... :-)

In other words, let us not redefine an on-road action that already has a well-defined meaning.

Agreed!! I became slightly biased for my mates. Actually its a really nice feeling of attachment when we see fellow bhpians.

Spotted in Pune on University road close to Aundh, group of T-bhp folks in a white Alto MH03 EH 6368. Tried to take a pic but came out blurry (sorry).

Shared a cheery wave and acknowledged the ebullient set of folks in the Alto. Also saw passenger side gent grabbing a pic!

Nice seeing you guys in Pune! I stay in Thane, here for the weekend. See you in Mumbai!

Pune Spotting:-

What - White Maruti Suzuki Dzire with MH 14 XX 5537 (not very sure) and LTD sticker on rear bumper (left side)
Where - At Kasarwadi Railway Cross, PCMC
When - Today around 1:00PM.

BHPian..?

By the way how to confirm the acknowledgement we receive on road are from our members or not? This thread is open to all so others also may aware of the signal. In my opinion time to go for a member's only sticker.
