I think Team BHP should make seperate sticker sets for approved members, and not sell them openly to all.

IMO one set should be made for readers and a special set, with either the User ID or Profile number (similar ID) mentioned in a strip above the current set of stickers. Another option is to give 3 rectangular pieces of stickers (with thier Team BHP ID/Profile No. mentioned) to be pasted above the current sticker set.

This way we can differentiate real BHPians from regular folks. I have encountered many cars (and many = 50+) in the past one year of driving, driven rashly and creating a bad impression of Team BHP. Infact, I doubt even 5 of those 50 would have been real members.

So have I. The one I most distinctly remember was a couple of months ago on the Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway (when I didn't have membership myself). This guy in a white Swift with almost black tinted windows and a LTD sticker, was driving like an absolute psychopath and being a risk to everyone else around. My first reaction was like, "oh wow is he really a member?!".

I wish there was a way to report such reckless drivers to cops on patrol (I guess we can by dialing 100? But I'm not sure how bothered the cops are as far as reckless driving is concerned)

The maximum sightings seem to be from karnataka primarily Bangalore. Either the city has maximum number of BHPians or the most active members.

More than passive members I would expect most to be non members. It should be the prerogative of members to not distribute it to any and everybody (read stickers on walls etc.)

Got my set of thirteen and loving it.
On the downside, I have lost interest in sticking the LTD's anytime soon as I see tons of fakes plying around - from bikes to auto rickshaws here in my district. These reproductions are mostly smaller and come in duller shades of yellow.

- Same scene at your place too ?

- Will it be a good idea for the forum to change/complicate/register the design only to make it harder to duplicate ?

I agree completely. Great Idea with Profile ID's. It would also help Sighters identify the handle of the member after taking the pic

I am in advertising and have some experience with design. I can volunteer to come up with some fresh designs and ideas for the stickers for the registered community of members.
