Great Set

Ordered a set. Yet to receive it. Excited to have it on my car.
7-10 days seems long. Dispatch via courier would make it easy.

Who is this gentleman, who placed this sticky note on my windshield? I have been waiting pictures of my ride on this thread from you buddy. You could have left your handle-name on the note.

Note: I personally liked your idea but I dont know if some of our fellow member find it little intrusive.

Wow, that's got me thinking! Because there are some BHPians who aren't really active but do have the sticker on their cars! And this would poke them into visiting the forum again!

Thats a very good idea, Suhaas but I was thinking there might be some possessive owners who might find it intrusive that someone sticking notes on their rides. I personally do not want someone to come to the sticker thread and start thrashing me for sticking note to his car and than the mods giving me warning not to do this again.

I think this is what stooping this person from showing up here. He might have thought later that this was not a good idea doing that.

We may need MODS to give us a nod for doing this. I have bunch of Sticky notes from my office and I have hardly used them but now I see a good use.

It's a post-it that you guys are discussing. It's not that you are leaving an indelible mark on the other person's car.

A note can elicit the same response as a wave - it all depends on the guy who you reach out to. If he responds, great. Else, let him be.

You are absolutely right, Condor. Sometimes waving at few people also has brought very indifferent look from them. but I would also like to know what is our Moderator's opinion about sticking post-it note to someone's car.

By the way I have not spotted your ride for sometime in EGL. Are you parking it somewhere else these days?

Had taken a few days off (using up the vacation), after which training & this week again WFH. Hence the 'absence'. December is the best part of the year, wont you agree ?

I completely agree with you, Sir. but I wasn't as lucky as you this time :(
Anyways someone spotted my car first time and spotter himself is missing from the scene.

Completely agree with you, Sir! It all depends on the owner. Let's hope that BHPians aren't grumpy about this. I reckon we give this a shot and if there is an issue, we will immediately stop it and apologize not as one person but everyone who follows this practice!

That's a first! We have many BHPians spotting cars with stickers and more often than not, the owner doesn't reveal himself or isn't regular on the forum. But this time, we have a member, the 'spotee', who has been spotted, but doesn't know who the spotter is!
