Hi,
I have a "Live to Drive" sticker on my Honda. People who don't know what it is or what team-bhp is all about they look at the website. Some get stuck on to it while some don't. My office colleagues often kid me about "Live to Drive". This is commonly read are "alive" without the "a". They also tell me that I am "alive" to drive and hence the sticker.
Well anyway seeing this sticker I had a very informal round of introductions with a fellow BHPian (bhp username - sukiwa) who works in the same industrial area in Pune as I do. I noticed his car with a BHP sticker but since I was in a big rush I passed him. He took the pains of finding out who I am and dropped me a mail. Well this was the first time I got the correct response for the sticker on my car . Hope to get in touch with many fellow BHPians in the same way.

Don't feel bad. I have even worse experience:

Spotted a Black Optra LS Magnum with Regn NO. TN 10 x 872x near Koyambedu junction proceeding towards Aminjikarai.

It had "Live to Drive" on the rear bumper and "www.teambhp.com" sticker on the lower part of the rear windsheild.

I was closely following the car in the B2B traffic at Koyambedu signal.

Couldnt click a picture. I was driving my loaner car (My linea had gone for service), so dint flash/signal because the loaner car had no T BHP stickers and dint want to confuse him.

Last edited by bnzjon : 2nd February 2010 at 13:16. Reason: Edited "Live to Dream" to "Live to Drive"

Wow.. Thanks Benny, Latheesh for remembering. Mine happens to be the dirtiest Swift running around ECity.

Edit: Spotting me on a Sunday at E-City, nope not me.

Saw a well maintained white Maruti 800 HR number 0430.It has a huge red team BHP sticker on back windshield and some yellow stickers which I couldnt see clearly, bumper was also white. This is on the entry to the Gurgaon expressway from the Delhi side, I honked and flashed lights but no reaction.

The next moment the maruti zips off at 80-90 kmph zig-zagging the cars and the driving was borderline rash. If its a senior BHPian, sorry but you were driving kind of fast for the traffic.

It has happened to me - this "friendly" gesture of flashing/honking can be totally misconstrued by the other driver as either an invitation for racing or as an unwanted distraction.

It would be better if we evolve an unique way to communicate amongst ourselves when we meet the other "friendly" BHP-ian on the road.

I have pissed-off many a driver by my "normal" driving style

Saw a silver Fiat Petra in Panjim with team-bhp stickers on the front fenders. The car had a FFE. Gave him the thumbs up signal and got a similar response. Who was it?
