Spotted with the I drive safe a nano with blinkers on and someone outside chatting with a cyclist in proper cycling attire. (nice cycle)

Me : Hi Bhpian!
He : what? Oh that's me.
Me : what's your id? i'm optimist.
He : you'r Optimist? ahh i've read your posts. 5 stars
Me : (I'm thinking "what is this guy saying?") "No No . I have contributed very little" and saying so I park and get out to talk further.

Me : "I'm sorry to barge into your conversation."
He : "No problem"

We identify ourselves and exchange cards and briefly talk about our jobs and office locations.

Me: " Can I take a picture? I will blank out the number"

He: "No problem. This is my wife's car. Is that a new car?" while pointing to mine.

Me: " It's two months old. but i've not yet put the bigger stickers. Only the small ones are there on the side.

The cyclist: "Yes, there are the small ones"

Me :"I'm happy to talk to someone who works in Peenya. Three others I spotted there have not responded. What's your handle?"

He : "umm .. "

Sigh. The nice guy reads Team-bhp and recognized my handle. Said bye and left in a hurry.

It's time the registered members got themselves a nice big difficult to copy transparent sticker for the rear windshield or something similiar

Spotted a white Grande Punto (MH 03) on the Matunga flyover today at around 11:30 am. It had the yellow LTD sticker on the bottom right corner of the rear bumper. I was in the neighboring lane and noticed you when I crossed you. Your lane was still. I turned left to go to Tilak bridge.

1. THAR with LTD numbered KAxx3891 on BETL at 5pm. You flashed at me first and overtook from my left. Then I flashed but never saw you again.


2. Grey SWIFT with LTD numbered KAxx2555 around 6pm. I drove alongside you from Ulsoor lake till Maruti Seva Nagar. Tried all possible stunts to grab your attention, but couldn't...

Woohooo! Chennai folks, Here I come! Gifted myself this Diwali with a set of T-BHP stickers!! Very much excited about it and very much eager to sport it in my Alto. Would post few pics of my car once I stick them.

Can someone clarify a couple of questions for me please?

1. I used my credit card for the purchase. There was a debit of $1 followed by the debit of the actual amount of Rs.280/-. I remember reading somewhere in this thread that this $1 will be credited back to my account. Am I right? What exactly happens?

2. Last time I pasted one sticker (I drive safe) onto my Alto's bumper and it got peeled off in just 1-2 days. Is there a difference between sticking them onto the "metal" part (boot door) and the "plastic" part (bumper)? Would putting them onto the boot door be long-lasting?
