Chennai Spottings

Spotted a Silver Baleno numbered TN 07 V 99** on the Pallavaram-Velachery Main road. I flashed and honked but did not notice that you had a female passenger. Sorry.

You had a LCLC sticker on the center of the boot.

Also, I had no intentions to overtake you and did not want a race. Please drive safe.

Spotted a Chevrolet Beat which was parked on the Camp Road. Did not notice the number though. Had a LTD sticker on the rear bumper.

Spotted a Red Punto with a LTD sticker filling gas at the Shell bunk on the Medavakkam road. I waved at you but you looked confused. Since I was with my parents could not stop to talk. Sorry.

By the way, I was in a grey Figo with a LTD sticker on the rear bumper.

My first weekend in bangalore, and I spotted 6 cars!

1. Started with a fake sticker.

3. Purple Fluidic Verna, number ending 5337, 16 Feb 2013 1pm, inside Kendriya Vihar, Yelahanka.

4. Swift, but i forgot the number now.

5. White Fluidic Verna, number ending 212, 17 Feb 2013 8:30 PM, somewhere inside city.

6. Hyundai Getz (IIRC! My memory fails me!), number ending 4008, again - location i have no idea about.

I think I'll get better at this game soon, once I get to learn the city. My daily commute is 60+ kms too.

Spotted this Blue Chevy Beat DL 6788 with 'got bhp' sticker at 10.30 at the Dwarka flyover. You were behind me from Sec 7 to the flyover so I am sure you noticed my green beat.

What: White Swift Dzirewith LCLC on left side of the rear bumber and Got BHP? on right side of the rear bumper. DL XX XX 0965
Where: Green Valley chowk (sec 41-42) crossing, coming from Noida City Centre metro station
When: 8:50 am today.
Observations: I was right behind in my black Scorpio. Proceeded three seconds before the signal turning green with lot of honking. I followed through for about 2.5 Kms, flashed, overtook one time to show my sticker, no response/acknowledgement.

The way it was driven, I'm sure it wan't a Team-BHP member.

Fake LTD stickers opposite to TCS Think Campus, Electronic City Bangalore. I wonder if they know something like team bhp exists and they can get genuine stickers for about the same price they got this fakes done.

I also wonder how do they describe this sticker to the sticker maker guy

They don't. These are sidey people who just go to the accessory dealer and ask them to put 10-15 stickers to make their car snazzy. I recently met a Swift owner who's car wears"Yokohama" (yet fitted with JK Tornado boots) "GReddy" and "Brembo" stickers. The owner had no idea what any of the companies make. Just "Cool lagta hai yaar" was his response!
