We get a little excited when we see 'one of our own', only to let down to know that he is only an imposter! It's a sticker, not a doctorate that one has to earn after lots of years of hard work. I think we are reading too much into a non-issue. What's wrong in posting a sticker if one is not a member?

No offense, but I consider T-BHP stickers as products available for purchase, online. They weren't awarded to me because of my driving style or temperament. I purchased two sets because LTD sticker looks stunning. It's perhaps the best designed sticker available in the market. Thus, I am not surprised that fake versions of it are available at local stores.

While the probability of finding a 'good' driver among stickered cars is high, there is a possibility of finding equally 'bad' driver in cars sporting T-bhp stickers. So, we shouldn't presume the driving abilities/manners of the driver, by the sticker on his/her car.

Team-bhp is an excellent forum for 'auto-enthusiasts' to share/exchange information/knowledge. As responsible-enthusiasts (not sure, if that's an oxymoron) we should promote/advocate safe driving/riding techniques, importance of adherence to rules, etc. At the same time, we should not try and make it an institution/symbol of road-ethics and get over preachy. i.e. imagine an additional step during registration - "Sign a declaration that you will never jump signals, never overtake from left, never cross the speed-limit, etc. If you are caught doing so by another member then your membership will be terminated".

Spotted an Army Green Mahindra Scorpio with " I Drive Safe " Sticker in South City -1 Gurgaon around 11:30 am. I was having a cup of tea at the local tea stall opposite Vista Signature Guest House.

I for one believe that as a member we have been selected after passing a rigorous membership process and not by being recommended. So, to represent this reputed community by having a sticker on our Cars/bikes it definitely means that we are a part of it. Today if Team Bhp has been able to survive and maintain it's quality to the best possible level, its simply because of certain ethics and rules. Flouting of Fake/Genuine Team Bhp sticker by a unruly driver(read RASH) should not be seen as non issue because unruly driving by tbhp sticker-ed cars goes a long way in tarnishing the image of our forum. Maybe some may say and some may not but a wrong perception does get created in one's mind.

Team BHP has definitely made it's name and presence felt over the years in India so it won't be difficult to ascertain what Team BHP is in today's time. Hence, a sticker on the car of a non-deserving driver does give bad image of us and definitely needs to be addressed.

Spotted a Blue Jazz with reg no MH04 (or 03?) AZ 2028 sporting Got BHP and LCLC stickers on the rear bumper on Lake Boulevard, Hiranandani Garden Powai near Godrej Nature basket shop. Expected to meet a BHPian, instead had a nice chat with father of a BHPian (Ashwin Iyer -dont know his handle). He had some nice things to say about Ashwin being a T-BHP hardcore fan.
