Why don't you post a pic online here to tempt all...

I am expecting a litter from the cat around my house, but would still like to see them and think about it.

Re: Team-BHPians and their pets

Guys,

With heavy heart I have to say that we have decided to give away our kittens to some kind-hearted souls. The reason is that my parents have gone abroad and its difficult for us to see the kittens left at home alone when we go away for work. It takes atleast 10 hours for us to be back home and we could sense the feel of loneliness in their faces.

As I already mentioned in my previous posts, they are 3 healthy 3month old kittens. All of them are very naughty. Here is the link to my earlier post.

http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/shifti...ml#post2407181

I will also try to upload a few more photos of them.

That really is not a problem with cats, especially if there is a family of them.

The ability of a cat to be independent is one the reasons I have always preferred them over dogs. It suits my nature better, as well as having practical advantages.

I agree with Thad. You have 3 of them and they'll play with each other and keep themselves occupied. Mine sleeps 16-18 hours a day!

Keep a lot of water around the house and keep your windows open so they can peep out through the glass. They'll watch the world go by.

And cats are excellent in the "sad-face" routine. Dont get fooled by it.

Re: Team-BHPians and their pets

In fact, my last London cat could easily be left, with sufficient supply of food, over 24 hours. She had access to the garden and could come and go as she wanted. However soppy they are indoors, they revert to being wild animals when they are out. Of course, that might not have worked so well if she had been the kind of cat that wolfed whatever was put on her plate, instead of just eating according to need.

Re: Team-BHPians and their pets

In this case the mother is no more to supply them with touch strokes and warmth. But although the kittens can wrestle each other and feel the affection, its important to supply some parental type love and nurture.

The spotted one is real cute!

Good luck in finding a home. Careful you don't give it to a shop owner. All across here I find people raising cats+kittens only to find they are being bred with a purpose - to remain locked up in a bakery or laundry shop 24/7/365 so that rats dont eat into their goods!! Sometimes I see them locked up all night in a 4x3 wooden shanty that is the laundry/ironing shop!! No play no movement its like a suffocating cage with no opening for fresh air and a view of the world, typically in a high traffic zone surrounded by heavy vehicles, smog and street dogs.

Rambo & Ginger's quick bath...

Here's a bit of video, captured during Rambo & Ginger's quick bath. My mom is the care taker and both of them love to get a nice 'n quick bath. Once they sense the bath is arranged, they refrain and try to run-away (You can see Ginger trying to hide behind the gas cylinder and under-the-stairs ).

After the first splash of water is on, they remain silent and enjoy the bath mostly. They both get a quick bath once or twice in a week.

Enjoy the video.

Re: Team-BHPians and their pets

Your labbies are very cute and adorable!

It would be a good idea to remove their collars and wash and dry them separately. With collars on, the neck area can't get cleaned properly and a wet collar can lead to infections. Also, the friction may be very irritating for them.

Visit CUPA bangalore (Veterinary college on Hebbal road) and give them there.

Oh great, I was wondering if they take them, Thank you.

Do they take it and look after it or do they sell it? How much do i have to pay to give them away?

No payments, but it would be very nice of you to take all your old newspapers and donate it there. They use it to keep the floors clean for all the animals.

They dont sell - but give them up for adoption.
