Thanks for your prompt response Joz. The entire backyard and terrace of my house will be for St. Bernard pup after it is around 5 or 6 months old. Till then inside the house. I dont want anyone to flick it as it is a pup.
There have been couple of instances like that before in my locality.

I am going to construct a similar kind of kennel which i saw in Yashbans with a fan so that the doggie can feel good during summer or day time. Any tips on the upbringing of the puppy from people who have or are having such huge breeds (particularly St Bernard) is highly appreciated.

I have 3 other dogs but not as big as this one. So any suggestions are welcome.

My steffi, 18 months old naughty lab which has forgotten that she is a lab

This is one of her early morning blues, she has a fetish to sleep in the bathroom some times and any amount of threats or papers or anything thrown on her would not even make her move an inch...

Guys this is really good thread - I am impressed by all the pets that TeamBHP owns. I am interested in getting a good Lab or german sheperd for my daughter. She is crazy for animals, runs in the genes, and hence wanted one. SO does any one of you out there have a lab or sheperd for sale, or are generous to give it off to someone ?

If you want mean guard dogs, then i suggest you dont go for bull mastiffs. they may be big in size but they are gentle giants and usually very mellow.

i suggest you go for rottweilers ( the most mean guard dogs).

@badboyscad: Beautiful pets and pictures. Your lab pup and the dane are simply splendid. Don't mind it, but I am a bit uncomfortable with the idea of birds in cages.

Well, the parakeet comes out of the cage occasionally and sits on shoulders( he talks too). Regarding the lovebirds and zebra finches(pics not included), they are captive birds and cannot survive if set free (infact, they ll become easy prey(to crows & eagles) in the following 5 mins of their release).

Not my Pet.

Guys, just saw this stray at Nagarjunasagar a few weeks back and somehow the colour of his coat caught my fancy and am posting pics here since you all like animals.

^^

Above dog looks like a mixed breed, a result of a stray mating with a brindle coat dog. It is quite common in Great Danes and Hounds.

Here are a few pics of some unusual pets I encountered at a friend's house.
